St Georges, University of London
St Georges, University of London
St George's, University of London is a specialist institution, offering medicine, biomedical sciences and healthcare sciences, and students benefit from our reputation for producing excellent healthcare professionals. We have nearly 280 years' history of excellence and innovation in education and research. We undertake world-class research in cardiology, stroke, epidemiology, cell signalling, and genetics. Globally, we focus on the fight against HIV and infectious disease, and locally we pursue the application of advances in child health and cardiology. Our innovations in curriculum development include the use of new technologies, and our work in the development of virtual patients and virtual clinics goes from strength to strength.

Our team of highly respected and internationally renowned staff includes professors who have held presidencies of Royal Colleges, chairs of review bodies and boards and those at the cutting-edge of medical research. We also offer a warm and friendly environment in which staff and students really get to know each other. Our smaller size lends a genuine community feel for our students, who come from over 50 countries to study at St George's, and contributes to the strong support networks that we provide for students and our alumni.
