Position/Role : Lab Engineer
Location : TI India BTP Labs - Bangalore
LAB : TI India has established sophisticated laboratories for development and testing of state of the art semiconductor devices and its applications. These laboratories contribute a great deal towards testing & characterization of semiconductor devices and software developed for analog and embedded processing business.
About the Lab Engineering Group : TII Engineering Lab team caters to the needs of the engineering teams for testing, debugging, software development and characterization of Integrated Circuits.
- Engineers will also get opportunity to work on high end ATE (Automated Test Equipment) test program development and debug.
- Exposure to state of the art measuring and test equipment to do semiconductor device test, characterization and debug
- Team will have opportunity to work with design and other product teams in design debug and get the TI products into production
Job Roles and Responsibilities
Manage the following Engineering lab services
- Device Characterization Data and analysis on Bench and ATE
- Device characterization & validation tests
- Hardware, test and device debug
- Test jigs fixtures, PCB debugging and soldering
- Test bench automation
- Test with robotic handlers
Knowledge and Skills
- Basic RLC circuit knowledge and ability to analyze the circuit by writing KVL and KCL
- Basic knowledge of different lab equipment's like DC voltage, current source, Multimeter, waveform generator and their ideal VI characteristics
- Board schematic, layout, soldering and debug skills
- Knowledge in Python, Perl, Lab view, data analysis
- Exposure on silicon test lab activities
- Windows and Linux systems
- Good communication and coordination skill
- Quick learner, dedicated, hard worker
- Skill and attitude to resolve unexpected issues
- Dynamic, accommodative and team player
