AM/NS India is a joint venture between ArcelorMittal, one of the world’s leading steel and mining companies, and Nippon Steel, Japan’s largest steel producer.

Steel consumption in India currently is 70 kg per capita against the global average of 225 kg. As the Indian economy set to grow, we will produce quality steel that meet international standard and create awareness about the usage of steel which is environment-friendly. Further we want to contribute to India’s ambitious target for steel production of 300 million tonnes a year by 2030.

AM/NS India accords high priority for sustainable operation through “”reduce, reuse and recycle” philosophy that will have minimum impact on environment. It will be able to migrate best global practices followed by both ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel
