I am fully aware about Data Protection Law in India, and about how employers record, store and use individuals’ personal and professional data. Since I am applying for employment with ZTE Telecom India Pvt Ltd. (hereinafter referred as ZTE), I, Know that as my prospective employer, during recruitment process ZTE Telecom India Pvt Ltd. needs to collect and hold personal and professional data about me to enable them to employ me. I am also fully aware about the fact that merely submitting my personal and professional data with ZTE does not entitle me for employment with ZTE Telecom India Pvt Ltd.
Data protection principles:
I am fully aware that ZTE need to share my data with third party outside agencies such as health services from where Insurance will be purchased. Also, ZTE may sometimes need to share employees data with their wider team at Connection Support. I am fully aware that GDPR Protection Regulation applies to all Employees & Workers both. I would like to render my consent to hold my personal and special data in order so that ZTE can include me in recruitment process. I am giving this consent without any fear, force and coercion with my free will, and this data can be retained by ZTE till one year from the date of collection, or one year from the date of termination of employment or as provided under law, whichever is later. I know my following data shall be kept and processed by ZTE.
- Recruitment data: Previous experience, Skills and qualifications
- Personal contact details such as name, title, addresses, telephone numbers, and personal email addresses.
- Dates of birth, Marital Status, Gender & Dependants
- Contact Details of Family in case of Emergency
- Health / disability information. This is classed as ‘special’ data under GDPR and is more strictly controlled
- Financial information: Bank details etc
- Copy of Valid ID Proof Like Adhaar Card & Pan Card
In Case I am selected for opportunity
In case of my Selection with ZTE, I further understand that my obligations as an employee of ZTE, inter alia in terms of confidentiality and personal data protection arising from the general conditions for supply, service and work contracts of the Company and Country, I will not use or disclose, directly or indirectly, confidential information or documents for any purpose other than fulfilling my obligations under the Employment contract without prior written approval from my superior. I will not make any adverse use of information given to me. I shall continue to be bound by these undertakings after completion of my work and employment with ZTE. If material/documents/reports/deliverables are made available to me either on paper or electronically, I agree to be held personally responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the documents or electronic files sent and for returning, erasing or destroying all confidential documents or files on completing my work as instructed.
During my employment, If I seek further information (e.g. from the internet, specialised databases, or database of company etc.) to complete my work, I must respect the overall rules for confidentiality for obtaining such information. Further I shall not contact third parties without prior written approval from my superior and shall not do anything which will amount to Violation of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and shall be responsible for the same.
I hereby freely give my consent to ZTE to use and process my personal data relating to my employment (examples of which are listed above)
