Technical
  • Understand and participate in quality control, safety, regulation processes.
  • Support team leaders and engineers on a variety of tasks including generating reports, executing manual and automated tasks, and completing projects.
  • As a technology team members should be passionate for solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices.
 
Individual Contribution:
  • Participate as directed in the product, feature development life cycle under the support of Team / Technical leader- multi-function / system.
  • Enhance practical knowledge with hands on practise in product, process, design and development procedures.
 
Autonomy:
  • Follow standard process and deliver the tasks.
  • Bring Productivity ideas to improve current process.
  • Actively proposes ideas and Improvement for Product and Process quality with the support of team or technical leader.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Must: ME/ M. Tech/ M.S - CSE /IT /ECE /EEE /ETC /EIE /ICE /Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Automobile/ Vehicle Dynamics/ Data Science/(AI/ML)/ CFD/ Thermal.
  • Aggregate till last announced results: 60% or 6.0 CGPA throughout 10th, 12th and UG/PG.
  • No active backlogs, Education Gap – Not more than 1 year. (Education gap within the course not eligible)
 
Compensation Details:
  • CTC - 10 LPA
  • 3 years Bond

 

Overview

Around 3700 Engineers contribute for Global Vehicle Development including India Market for Renault and Nissan Brands. Activities can be broadly classified as “Vehicle Design & Development”, Production Engineering” and “Research & Advance Engineering”.

Vehicle Design & Development :

Engaged in core Vehicle Component Design & Developments including Styling, CAD design, Vehicle CAE and Physical Testing with different technology like,

  • Body (Sheet Metal),
  • Plastic Parts (Bumper, Lighting, Dashboard & Aesthetics Part…)
  • Electrical & Platform Components (Harness, Chassis, Cooling, Braking & Infotainment Systems…)
  • Powertrain (Engine design, Transmission & Embedded Software for ECU mainly ADAS, Connected Car....)

Production Engineering :

Design & application of manufacturing techniques for Global & India Production Plants. Conversion of Products between Stamping, Body assembly, Painting, Quality Check and Delivery.

Research & Advance Engineering :

Provides innovative technologies to Renault and Nissan Global Research projects in Collaboration with Government agencies, Premier Institutions and tie-up with Start-Ups.

About Renault Nissan Tech

Renault Nissan Tech is a captive automotive technology and business centre, supporting Renault and Nissan globally. Established in 2007, it is in Mahindra World City, near Chennai, India and employs over 9500 workforce. Renault Nissan Tech was bestowed with the ISO 9001:2015 certification in 2019 and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification in 2020.

There are three major verticals - Engineering, Information System and Information Technology (ISIT), and Global Business Services. The Engineering teams focus on Product Engineering, Process Engineering, Research & Advanced Engineering on local and global car programs. The Engineering team also contributes to digital acceleration working on Simulation, Software Defined Vehicles and Digital Twins.
